Luciano Fontana has been Editor-in-chief of Corriere della Sera since 2015. He was hired in 1997 at Corriere della Sera as Deputy Central Editor. In 2000 he became Central Managing Editor, Deputy Editor-in-chief since 2003 and Co-Editor-in-chief in 2009.
