Pietro Modiano (Milan, 1951) built his career in banking and finance after graduating cum laude from Bocconi. He held key roles, including Deputy CEO at Unicredit and Intesa Sanpaolo, CEO at San Paolo di Torino, and Chairman at Pioneer Investments, Banca IMI, and SEA. From 2009, he chaired Tassara and Nomisma. In 2018, he returned to banking as Chairman and ECB-appointed Commissioner of Banca Carige until its rescue in 2020.
Sergio Nava is deputy head of Radio 24, where he covers international news: EU politics, continental electoral events, international summits. On Radio 24 he hosts the weekly program "Generations Mobile". He is the author of three books (two essays and a noir).

From 2005 to 2015 she was professor of Economic Policy and Urban Economics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan.
Giorgio Prodi is Associate Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and Head of Asia Pacific Relations at BBS, Bologna Business School. He is vice president of TWAI Torino World Affairs Institute, member of the board of of GEI, Gruppo economisti d’impresa, and member of the Board of Directors of Italcer.
Chief Economist of SACE. He is a lecturer in Analysis of International Markets and Country Risk at the Graduate School of Economics and International Relations of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Chairman of the Business Economists’ Group (GEI).
With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.
