Deputy editor - La Repubblica

Walter Galbiati is deputy editor of Repubblica, responsible for economics, and editor of the economics supplement Affari&Finanza. In addition to launching the online joint venture Economia e finanza with Bloomberg, he has been a financial and legal reporter for the Rome-based daily newspaper. He was Chief content officer of the Pirelli group for four years.

Graziano Verdi

Manager in design and luxury, Graziano Verdi, CEO of Italcer Group, previously led Technogym and Koramic. In 2017, he founded Italcer together with Alberto Forchielli. The group, a leader in the Italian ceramic sector, includes several brands such as Devon&Devon and Ceramica Rondine, and generates over €340 million in revenue. Verdi is also an Independent Board Member at Pelliconi and President of the European Ceramic Federation.

With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.
