She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome La Sapienza, has been a post-doctoral fellow at the London School of Economics and visiting professor at the University of Cambridge, Stockholm and Bonn. She has published in major academic journals.

With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.
