Standing in the shadow of the ancient ramparts, for a long time Piazza Fiera was the beating heart of the city's markets and commerce, hence its name (which means “fair” or “market”). The wide open spaces make Piazza Fiera ideal for hosting large business events, as well as cultural and musical gatherings. It serves as an important intersection for the city’s public transport, and the underground multi-storey car park means it is easily accessible by car.
