A world of books at the Festival dell'Economia di Trento

A space dedicated to ideas, stories, and visions that help read the present and imagine the future. Through their contributions, authors guide the audience through the great themes of our time. At the heart of every meeting is the most pressing current affairs, observed from different perspectives: economy, society, politics, and culture. From the changes in capitalism to the transformations of cities, and from new forms of leadership to the challenges of democracy.

An important role is inevitably dedicated to artificial intelligence, the protagonist of numerous events exploring its potential and risks: from economic competitiveness to the impact on daily life, as well as the ethical and cultural questions this technology raises.

Alongside this, the theme of economic and social policies emerges strongly, with reflections on taxation, inequality, the relationship between the State and citizens, and new models of development, as well as the labor market and businesses amidst transformations and new opportunities.

An international perspective is also present: geopolitics enters the program with in-depth analysis of new global balances, conflicts, and the role of Europe, offering keys to understanding ongoing tensions and transformations. Ample space is also given to sustainability, science, and education. The program of this edition is distinguished by the variety of voices involved: academics, journalists, managers, popularizers, and protagonists of the national and international public debate.

Marianna Aprile; Tommaso Arenare; Carlo Bonini; Giovanni Bazoli; Mario Calabresi; Claudio Cerasa; Andrea Colamedici; Franco Gabrielli; Linus; Luca Mari; Serena Mazzini; Mariangela Pira; Massimo Scaglioni. These are just some of the protagonists of a dense program created thanks to the collaboration with some of the major Italian publishers: Baldini+Castoldi; Bompiani; Città Nuova; De Agostini; EGEA; Einaudi; Feltrinelli; Garzanti; Il Mulino; Mondadori; Morcelliana; Raffaello Cortina Editore; Rizzoli; Silvio Berlusconi Editore; Vita e Pensiero.

A mosaic of experiences that makes every encounter an opportunity for direct dialogue with those who interpret and narrate our time. An invitation to stop, listen, and delve deeper: a space where ideas take shape through words and become tools to understand the present and build the future.
