David Ellerman
He has written about the theory and practice of worker co-operatives and democratic employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) for about a half century. After being educated at MIT and Boston University, he taught Economics for about twenty years before spending a decade in the World Bank. He is now living in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he is a co-founder of the Institute for Economic Democracy.
Giulia Galera
Her research interests range from the analysis of the social economy from a comparative perspective to the study of social enterprises’ dynamics. She sits on the board of the EMES Network, on scientific committee of the energy cooperative è nostra and is president of the social enterprise Miledù.
Felice Scalvini
Felice Scalvini, lawyer, for decades has been dedicated to promoting and developing Third Sector institutions such as social cooperatives, social enterprises, philanthropic organizations, and shared administration. He has been committed to their scientific and legislative elaboration but also to concrete action through innovative activities of operational nature and organizational development.
Lando Sileoni
Lando Maria Sileoni is the General Secretary of Fabi, the major banking union, since 2010. As Fabi leader, Sileoni he has signed four renewals of national collective labor agreements, the last one, in 2023, secured a record monthly salary increase of 435 euros for the 300,000 bank workers.
Ermanno Tortia
In my capacity as a professor of economics, and Euricse affiliate, my research interests are based on the study of institutional Economics, business Economics, and HRM. They are directed toward the study of organizations that populate the social economy, especially social enterprises and nonprofits, and cooperative enterprises.
