Roberto Garofoli, Section President at the Council of State, served as Undersecretary to the Prime Minister’s Office in the Draghi Government. Former Chief of Staff at the MEF and Public Administration, he co-directed the Treccani Legal Encyclopedia and authored numerous publications in administrative and criminal law.
Full professor of administrative law, director of the degree course in law and of the Vittorio Bachelet Centre for Research on Public Administrations at Luiss Guido Carli. Head of the Legislative Office of the Minister of Education (2013-2014) and the Minister of Public Service (2014-2016). Lawyer.
Palazzo Sardagna, current home of the offices of the Rectorate of the University of Trento, is one of the masterpieces of Mannerism and early Baroque in Trentino. Dating from the 16th century, the building is built around a large central courtyard, the largest among those found in the city's historic buildings. From the exterior, walking through the entrance hall embellished with heraldic coats of arms, one enters the courtyard punctuated by a double order of loggias and long galleries.
