Managing Director and General Manager of BANCOMAT S.p.A. since 2024. Previously he held top management positions in Mastercard globally. Expert in fintech, digitalisation and innovative strategies for financial services.
He was a member of the African Development Bank (AfDB)’s Executive Board during 2022-2025 and of the International Monetary Fund (IMF)’s Executive Board during the 2018-22 period representing Italy and other European countries. Before that, he had already a two-year stint as an Executive Director at the AFDB Board. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University.
Pasquale L. Scandizzo is a Professor of Political Economy, past Director and Fellow of the Center for Economic and International Studies, Senior Fellow and Member of the Advisory Board of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” Foundation, President of the Villa Mondragone Economic Development Association, President Emeritus of the Italian Society of Development Economics, and Chairman of OpenEconomics International.
Paola Subacchi is professor of political economy, an economic advisor, and a non-executive director. She has written extensively on the international monetary system. She is the Incoming Chair in Sovereign Debt, Sciences Po and Adjunct Professor, University of Bologna.
Co-founder and CEO of ISEA – Applied Economics. She teaches at Luiss Business School and UniMarconi. Past responsible for institutional relations within the industrial associative system, companies and the public sector, at regional and national level.

Via Belenzani, once called Contrada Larga, is the main street leading to Piazza Duomo and one of the city's most atmospheric streets, surrounded on both sides by Renaissance palaces decorated with beautiful frescoes. Palazzo Geremia, today the seat of the Trento City Council, is one of these: inside there are several rooms - beautifully frescoed and often still with their original wooden ceilings.
