Moreno Bertoldi is Senior Associate Research Fellow at the Geoeconomics Centre of the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). From 2016 to 2021, he served as Special Adviser to the Ambassador and Head of the economic and financial section at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States.

Overlooking Piazza Dante and standing opposite Trento's train station, the building is a stone’s throw from the historic centre. This building was built between 1958-65 as part of a project by Trentino architect Adalberto Libera (1903-1963), a leading figure in Italian rationalist architecture.
