Alessandro Benetton has served as Chairman of Edizione, one of Europe’s leading holding companies, since 2022, and as Chairman of the infrastructure group Mundys since March 2026. A pioneer of private equity in Italy, he founded 21 Invest in 1992, through which he has invested in more than 110 companies. In 2025, he relaunched the Unhate Foundation, which promotes social inclusion among young people.
Lavinia Biagiotti Cigna, an entrepreneur and designer, is the third generation of women at the helm of the family business. She is active in art, sport, with Marco Simone Golf home of the Ryder Cup 2023, patronage and mentoring for women.
Born in Milan, she holds a degree in Chemistry, was President of Federchimica and Assolombarda, Vice President for Research and Innovation in Confindustria. Great patron, she set up the Bracco Foundation in 2010, of which she is President, and she is currently a member of the Board of the Teatro alla Scala Foundation.
Marina Brambilla, Rector of the University of Milan, is a Full Professor of German Language and Linguistics. She serves as the Coordinator of the Commission for the Right to Education within the CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors), is a member of the Board of Directors for several Foundations, and sits on the Board for Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation for the Municipality of Milan.
Roman living in Milan, she is the voice of "Start" every two weeks. Co-author of the podcasts "L'altro zio Sam", "Elon" and two books. She is expert in new models of journalism, politics and foreign affairs. She creates content for social networks and Il Sole 24 Ore website. On Fridays, you can find her as the host of the "Macro" transmission. She worked, among others, at Sky TG24, La Repubblica, Il Foglio.
Alessandro Molinari has a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Trento and has been working in ITAS since 1992, with increasing responsibilities in the field of budget and finance. Since 2020 he is Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Company.
Fabio Tamburini is editor of Il Sole 24 Ore, Radiocor, Radio 24 and editorial director of the 24 ORE Group. Previously he was deputy editor of Ansa, deputy editor of MF-Milano Finanza, correspondent of Repubblica, and editor-in-chief of Mondo. He has always dealt with finance and industrial economics. He is currently an adjunct professor at Luiss Guido Carli University.
The stage of Teatro Sociale has been graced by the likes of Arturo Toscanini and Enrico Caruso. It has played host to Italy’s finest operas and plays, not to mention dance shows, New Year’s Eve parties and political rallies. A splendid example of Italian-style theatre, from 1819 until the 1960s, it served as the main backdrop of the city’s cultural scene. In 2000, after being purchased by the province and significant restoration works, it was returned to its former glory. The stalls, three floors of boxes and the gallery can seat up to 670 people, while the elegant rooms of the adjoining Palazzo Festi are often used for meetings and conferences.
