Paolo Acciari

Director - Ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze

Works at the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, Department of Finance, as Director in charge of consultancy and research. At the OECD he has been the Chair of the Working Party on Tax Policy Analysis and Tax Statistics and has also served the European Commission. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Portsmouth, UK.

Dean - SDA Bocconi School of Management

Stefano Caselli is the Dean of SDA Bocconi and Professor of Finance with “Algebris Chair” at Bocconi University. He is member of the Italian Ministry of Economy for the Capital Markets Reform. He is independent board member for Unipol Group, FSI SGR, Sosteneo SGR and Bocconi Endowment Management. He is a columnist for L’Economia of Corriere della Sera.

With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.
