Patrizio Bianchi, industrial economist, is now professor emeritus and UNESCO Chair ‘Educazione, crescita ed eguaglianza’ at the University of Ferrara, of which he was Rector. Academician of the Lincei, he was Minister of Education of the Draghi Government.
Since 2022 Rector of Bocconi University and also Professor of Demography in the Department of Social and Political Sciences. Previously he was Statutory Professor of Sociology and Demography and Director of the Department of Sociology at the University of Oxford.
She was Italy’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from November 2011 to February 2014. She is a Board Member of the European Council on Foreign Relations, IAI (Istituto Affari Internazionali) and Vice President of the Centre for American Studies in Rome. She sits in the boards of Eni-Enrico Mattei Foundation, Cini Foundation. She sits in the Advisory Board of Gruppo Marcegaglia.
Donatella Sciuto is Rector of Politecnico di Milano and Full Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University. Among the IBM Women Leaders in Artificial Intelligence and Inspiring Fifty Italy, she is a member of the Academia Europaea.

He is Deputy General Manager of the Italian Banking Association (ABI). He is the author of publications and studies on macroeconomic and management aspects of the banking and financial market as well as on the internationalization of the Italian economy. He is Chairman of ABIServizi SpA (ABI-owned company offering training, publishing and other services).
With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.
