Massimo Baldini

Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia

He teaches at the Department of Economics “Marco Biagi” in Modena, offering courses in Public Economics, Welfare State, and Sustainability. His research focuses on inequality, poverty, and the redistributive effects of public policies. Together with L. Rizzo, he published the book Flat Tax with Il Mulino a few years ago.

Elsa Fornero is Honorary Professor of Economics at the University of Turin and Scientific Coordinator of the Center for Research on Pensions and Welfare Policies – Collegio Carlo Alberto. Marcello Zacchè (b. 1963) was born and raised in Milan, where he graduated with a degree in Economics from Bocconi University and currently resides with his family. A professional journalist, he has written for Il Sole 24 Ore, RCS, and il Giornale. At the latter, he served as Business and Economics Editor from 2007 to 2024 and continues to contribute today as an op-ed columnist.

Once the seat of the provincial and regional councils, this splendid room inside the Palazzo della Provincia Autonoma di Trento (formerly the Imperial Hotel Trento) takes its name from the artist who designed, furnished and fully decorated it between 1953 and 1956 — Rovereto-born Fortunato Depero, whose artistic trajectory spanned Futurism, Cubism and Abstract Art, resulting in his unmistakable style.
