Professor Robert Nisticò, born in London and raised in Italy, holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery and a specialization in Psychiatry from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He is a Full Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata,” currently on leave to serve as President of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA).
With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.
