Graduated in Economic and Banking Sciences in Siena (1993), he obtained a Licentiate in Doctrine and Social Ethics (2002), a Doctorate in Social Sciences (2006) and a Licentiate in Moral Theology (2015). He has done research at Harvard, UMass Boston, and KU Leuven. Professor of economic ethics (since 2009), now head of the accounting and finance sector of Pontificia Accademia delle Scienze Sociali.
