Teaches US History and Politics at LUISS University and Strategic Studies at UNINT, as well as in various post-grad courses; he taught Aerospace History at the ITAF Academy for 20 years. A frequent commentator on international politics on radio and tv, he writes for Sole since 2024. He sits on various think tank boards, including ICSA and CESMA.
Mario Del Pero is Professor of International History at Sciences Po Paris and Senior Research Fellow at ISPI in Milan. In 2025 he published Buio americano. Gli Stati Uniti e il mondo nell’era Trump (Il Mulino) and In the Shadow of the Vatican (Cambridge University Press). He is a columnist for Il Domani and Giornale di Brescia; his articles have appeared in the Washington Post, Le Monde, The Guardian, Le Figaro, and the Los Angeles Times.
Paolo Magri is President of the Advisory Board of the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and Professor of International Relations at Bocconi University. He is member of the Board of Directors of LUISS University and of the Touring Club Italia; member of the Council of ECFR. He is a regular speaker, writer and commentator to diverse media outlet.
Ambassador Mariangela Zappia is the President of ISPI with 40+ years in diplomacy. She served as Italy’s Ambassador to the US, UN and NATO, and as G7/G20 Sherpa and Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister. She also worked across Brussels and Dakar. Ambassador Zappia is member of the Board of Intesa Sanpaolo.
Via Belenzani, once called Contrada Larga, is the main street leading to Piazza Duomo and one of the city's most atmospheric streets, surrounded on both sides by Renaissance palaces decorated with beautiful frescoes. Palazzo Geremia, today the seat of the Trento City Council, is one of these: inside there are several rooms - beautifully frescoed and often still with their original wooden ceilings.
