Giovanni Bazoli

Giovanni Bazoli, President Emeritus of Intesa Sanpaolo, where he previously served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, was President of the Cini Foundation from 1999 to 2024. A lawyer and former professor of Administrative Law, Public Law Institutions, and Public Economic Law at the Università Cattolica di MIlano (Catholic University of Milan), he is the author of numerous publications.

Palazzo Sardagna, current home of the offices of the Rectorate of the University of Trento, is one of the masterpieces of Mannerism and early Baroque in Trentino. Dating from the 16th century, the building is built around a large central courtyard, the largest among those found in the city's historic buildings. From the exterior, walking through the entrance hall embellished with heraldic coats of arms, one enters the courtyard punctuated by a double order of loggias and long galleries.
