Problems of the mountains and inland areas: a European perspective of good regional practices

With a degree in Economics and Business Law from the University of Pavia, he earned a Master's degree in Auditing and Risk Management from the University of Pisa, an Executive Master's degree in Strategic Affairs from the Luiss School of Government, and one in Economic Intelligence from the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies in Milan. He served as Councilor for Finance and Productive Activities and, since November 2025, has been President of the Aosta Valley Regional Council.

Laureata in Giurisprudenza all'Università di Granada, ha esercitato come avvocato per vent'anni. È stata Assessore alle Finanze e al Turismo e Vicepresidente del Consiglio dell'Isola di Lanzarote. Eletta al Parlamento delle Isole Canarie dal 2011 è Sindaco di Arrecife dal 2019 al 2023. Attualmente è Presidente del Parlamento delle Isole Canarie e di CALRE (Conferenza delle Assemblee legislative regionali europee).

Mohamed Ouriaghli is Vice-President of the Brussels-Capital Region Parliament. A former Alderman of the City of Brussels, he focuses on housing, social policy and international cooperation, and is an active member of CALRE, where he represents the Brussels Parliament.

Born in Levico in 1965, he is the founder and owner of an insurance and automotive agency. A member of the League party, he has been a provincial councilor (Trento) and President of the Regional Council of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol since 2018. A CALRE delegate (Conference of European Regional Legislative Assemblies), he has been coordinator of the "Mountain and Inland Areas Issues" working group since 2025.

Gianpaolo Tessari, a professional journalist since 1995, has gained extensive experience in the local daily press. He has covered politics extensively, with a particular focus on autonomy, the Region, and cross-border relations. Since 2022, he has been in charge of the press office and public relations for the Regional Council.
