Visions, uncertainties and needs of the new generations towards the public administration
Francesca Bria, Innovation Economist, is an Honorary Professor at the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) at UCL in London and a Fellow of the Stiftung Mercator in Berlin. She is President of ART-ER, the Emilia-Romagna Agency for Innovation and a member of the International AI Council established by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
She supervises the activities of the Centre aimed at providing policy advice and capacity building for local development. She holds a degree in Economics of Public Administration and International Institutions from L. Bocconi University, Milan.
Roberto Viola is the Director General for digital policies at the European Commission (DG Connect). Before the European Commission, he was the Secretary General of AGCOM. From 1986 to 1999 he worked at the European Space Agency (ESA).
