Overlooking Piazza Dante and standing opposite Trento's train station, the building is a stone’s throw from the historic centre. This building was built between 1958-65 as part of a project by Trentino architect Adalberto Libera (1903-1963), a leading figure in Italian rationalist architecture.

Anna Maria Bernini is a Member of the Senate and the Minister of Universities and Research. She is a Registered Lawyer and Associate Professor of Public Comparative Law. In 2011, she served as Minister for EU Policies.

Donatella Sciuto is Rector of Politecnico di Milano and Full Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University. Among the IBM Women Leaders in Artificial Intelligence and Inspiring Fifty Italy, she is a member of the Academia Europaea.
