Once the seat of the provincial and regional councils, this splendid room inside the Palazzo della Provincia Autonoma di Trento (formerly the Imperial Hotel Trento) takes its name from the artist who designed, furnished and fully decorated it between 1953 and 1956 — Rovereto-born Fortunato Depero, whose artistic trajectory spanned Futurism, Cubism and Abstract Art, resulting in his unmistakable style.

Sebastiano Maffettone is a Professor of Political Philosophy at Luiss University, where he directs the Ethos Observatory. A prominent public intellectual, he has been a visiting professor at Harvard, Columbia, and the LSE. He is the author of over 30 books and is credited with introducing John Rawls' thought to Italy, while also holding numerous cultural and scientific positions.

Giorgio Vittadini is Full Professor of Statistics at the University of Milano-Bicocca. He founded the Foundation for Subsidiarity in 2002 and has served as its President ever since. The Foundation promotes research, educational and publishing initiatives on social, economic and political issues with the aim of fostering a culture of participation and subsidiarity.

Ayşe Zarakol is Professor of International Relations at the University of Cambridge, where she is also a Politics Fellow affiliated with Emmanuel College. The main themes of Zarakol’s research are East-West relations and social hierarchies in world politics, problems of modernity and sovereignty, rising and declining powers, history and future of international order.
