With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.

Until recently he was Professor in Industrial Economy and Foreign Trade at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of Università Cattolica, Milan, where he taught since 1989. He was awarded the Commander and Grand Officer of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Vice Rector for China of Politecnico di Milano, where he is also the founder of the first overseas campus (in Xi’an). He is a member of the Committee for the definition of the national AI strategy of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
