Palazzo Calepini, currently serving as the headquarters for Fondazione Caritro, dates back to the late 16th century and was built at the behest of the noble Calepini family from the Giudicarie valleys. Between 1823 and 1844, Palazzo Calepini served as the seat of the Prince Bishops of Trento. In 1999, the building was acquired by the foundation to be used as their institutional headquarters.

Since 2013, she has served as the Secretary-General of ANCI and is the first woman to hold this position. Her extensive career includes roles within the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies and several independent authorities. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Local Finance and was previously a member of the Joint Commission for Fiscal Federalism. She coordinated the activities for the implementation of the provisions of Title V of the Italian Constitution.

Formerly the Head of the Research Department at ANCI (National Association of Italian Municipalities), where he managed innovation processes of national and European significance, he is currently the Head of the Urban Planning and Urban Regeneration Sector at Confcommercio.
