Palazzo Calepini, currently serving as the headquarters for Fondazione Caritro, dates back to the late 16th century and was built at the behest of the noble Calepini family from the Giudicarie valleys. Between 1823 and 1844, Palazzo Calepini served as the seat of the Prince Bishops of Trento. In 1999, the building was acquired by the foundation to be used as their institutional headquarters.

Kornel Tomasz Lewicki is an architect and researcher, co-founder of studionuvolari.eu with Lorenzo Vicari. He graduated from the Accademia di Mendrisio under Mario Botta and gained professional experience at Christian Kerez (CH) and BAUKUNST (BE). He earned his PhD at the University of Naples, Federico II. He teaches at TU Wien and UniNa.
