Gianluca Salvatori has been general secretary of EURICSE since 2009 and vice president of the first Italian Centre on Social Innovation (ICCSI) since 2024. He is also a member of the GECES (Group of Experts of the European Commission on the Social Economy) and an observer in the UNTFSSE (UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy).

With marvellous frescoes and crenelated towers, Buonconsiglio is the most important castle in Trentino. Having served as the seat of the Prince-Bishops of Trent for centuries, today the castle is home to the provincial art and archaeology collections and the famous Torre Aquila, whose walls are frescoed with the renowned “Ciclo dei Mesi” (“Cycle of the Months”), an international Gothic masterpiece. A number of Festival dell’Economia events will take place in its Sala Gerola, which seats 110 people.
