Once again this year, the Festival dell’Economia will bring colour and entertainment to the squares of Trento that will get the whole city buzzing! Numerous initiatives are planned, with a wide range of activities for people of all ages.
PIAZZA DUOMO
FESTIVAL BOOKSTORE
The Associazione Librai del Trentino (part of the Associazione Commercianti) is bringing back one of the most popular initiatives at previous editions of the Festival: it will be running a Bookstore in Piazza Duomo and presenting books and meet-the-author events in the municipal library on Via Roma and other locations in the city. The Associazione Librai represents and promotes participation by all bookshops, which discuss the initiatives on the bill with each other and coordinate everything with the 24 Ore Group.
CONFCOOPERATIVE
It has been confirmed that Confcooperative will be back at the 18th edition of the Festival di Trento. There will be a dedicated venue in Piazza Duomo and this year the confederation has lined up a packed schedule of talks featuring stakeholders and topical issues.
EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT – EUROPEAN COMMISSION
European institutions listen to civil society and engage in dialogue with citizens in order to discuss the development of the policies of the European Union (EU) and promote their shared values. In pursuit of this goal, the European Parliament Liaison Office and the European Commission Representation in Italy will be taking part in the Festival dell’Economia di Trento 2023, with an interesting program of meetings and dialogues. Bringing together EU experts and representatives with the future generation of Europe, it will be an opportunity to exchange views and learn new things. PIAZZA FIERA
In Piazza Fiera there will be a children’s area and a large play area.
ECONOMY KIDS RADIO by 24 Ore Cultura in partnership with Radio 24
Children from the schools of Trento, led by Leonardo Catalano, Francesca Silvestri and Deborah Tarquinio, will have the chance to make their voices heard during workshops and share their views on the Festival dell’economia during a special radio project. Preparation work will be carried out with the selected classes in the previous months and then from Thursday to Saturday they will produce audio snippets that will be published on the Radio 24 website and the Festival channels. All of the students from Trento and the workshop participants and their families will be celebrated during a final event on Sunday, when Federico Taddia will be on the Radio 24 stage to showcase the great work they have done and present them with awards.

PLAY LIFE-SIZE FESTIVAL DELL’ECONOMIA MONOPOLY
In a large space with a life-size 7x7 m board, there will be a special area dedicated to MONOPOLY: the first economics-based game that can teach children as young as eight to manage their money. Relay games lasting 15 minutes will be played on all four days of the festival: the entertainment staff will be ready to bring the challenge to life on the giant MONOPOLY board and the winners will get a CUSTOMIZED FESTIVAL DELL’ECONOMIA AND IL SOLE 24 ORE MONOPOLY SET. STUDIO ANDROMEDA
For more than forty years, the Andromeda Art Studio has been promoting art and specifically comics, illustration and satire.
It is a stable point of reference for the city and the province but also extends well beyond the Italian and European borders thanks to its numerous initiatives such as the prestigious thirty-year "International Review of Satire and Humor City of Trento".
Present since its first edition at the Festival of Economics, this year too it will bring its many activities to the Andromeda space in Piazza Fiera, workshops for children, Artbus games for children, caricatures by Umberto Rigotti, Pop-ups up by Tiziano Beber, the live performances of designers such as the Scarabocchio Brothers and Gianlorenzo Ingrami, the new show of words and cartoons with Roberto Rinaldi, the drawings of the newborn team "Queste Donne" and the music of the guitarist duo Music Art.. ..for a "4 days" of drawing, group activities, fun, and satire.
AUTOSTRADA DEL BRENNERO STAND
At the 2023 edition of the Festival dell’Economia, Autobrennero will be back in Piazza Fiera with its own stand. In the A22 motorway cloud there will be numerous events over the four days of the Festival. They will take us along the road to infrastructure and transport innovation, with a clear vision of the future!
DOLOMITI ENERGIA
Energy has a key part to play in the future of any area: promoting the opportunities that it presents is one of the cornerstones of the work done by Dolomiti Energia, the commercial company in the Gruppo Dolomiti Energia. In its lantern on Piazza Fiera, it will be presenting innovative, sustainable new ways to provide Italian businesses and families with energy and gas.

FONDAZIONE DEMARCHI
The Franco Demarchi Foundation aims to develop, test and implement innovative solutions through research, planning and training processes. During the Festival it will enliven the square of the Basilica del Concilio with meetings, exhibitions, moments of in-depth analysis regarding various themes that distinguish it: from civic education as a moment of social growth to social innovation startups as an economic engine for high territories, up to the educating communities with particular attention to the theme of community cooperatives, new technologies, generative welfare. The presence of an official radio, with some live from the square, will enrich the schedule of activities in the square.

PIAZZA CESARE BATTISTI
Radio 24 will be the star of the square, with live broadcasts of a selection of programs from the schedule. There will be a number of opportunities for members of the public to meet presenters and it will give people a taste of the excitement of live radio and everything that happens behind the scenes. As well as the Radio 24 studios, this year in Piazza Cesare Battisti there will also be a STAGE that will be used for live broadcasts, LIVE shows by the presenters and performers, talks by influencers, performances by musicians, and DJ sets: Trento city centre will be bursting with infectious energy, giving audiences a chance to experience the festival in the squares, outside the institutional locations.

INAPP and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies will be present with an exhibition/information space with the aim of informing visitors on issues of training, work and social policies.
Available to the public there will be some scientific documents resulting from the research activities and projects in progress.
